Unseen Faces Foundation is a Los Angeles-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization that began rendering its services to individuals seeking permanent and supportive housing. We promote a room sharing and client matching program and when clients move-out the room can potentially become a single room. Based on observations, and the abilities of the current client/roommate, we may make a decision to either let the client share the room or it can become a single room to rent.
We house those who are homeless and at risk of becoming homeless by providing case management, job development, main stream benefits programs and assist with activities of everyday living. We offer a meal service program for an addition charge which is included in the the monthly rent. We are not a government funded program but we do accepts clients who are on special programs, we offer referral services to rental assistance programs.
We provide supportive housing services for individuals from various backgrounds who are in the transitional phase of their development from homelessness to permanent housing.
Housing is a fundamental component to establishing a productive life. It contributes to a sense of safety and the gradual improvement of individual self esteem. When a person has permanent housing their success potential increases substantially.
Secured housing protects individuals from the dangers homeless people are exposed to regularly: violence, disease, and emotional distress. Housing will provide individuals with security and enable them to pursue and sustain personal advancement, psychological well being, and social engagement.
